and size can be customized to meet your needs.
Course Description
This introductory level
course provides a basic understanding of peripheral venous testing for both the technologist and physician. The course
includes: the basics of Doppler and transducers, spectral analysis and Color Doppler, anatomy & hemodynamics of the upper
and lower venous system, clinical aspects of disease and treatment, physical examination and patient history, venous duplex
testing techniques of the lower and upper extremities, venous reflux testing techniques and photoplethysmography, examination
protocols, diagnostic criteria, reporting and testing validation.

is 1 to 6 participants
15 hours CME are available from the Society of Vascular Ultrasound

Materials
A master copy of the course material is included in the fees, or we will ship pre-assembled binders for a nominal cost per
item. If you choose to receive the master copy of the course material, we ask that copies be made and put in binders, one
per student
Continuing Education
Continuing education
credits from the Society of Vascular Technology can be provided for all persons completing the course for a single fee.
