Course Description
This introductory level course provides a basic understanding of transcranial duplex testing for both the technologist and physician. The course includes: basics of Doppler and transducers, anatomy & hemodynamics of the intracranial and extracranial arterial system, clinical aspects of disease, physical examination and patient history, TCD testing techniques, examination protocol, diagnostic criteria, reporting and testing validation.
Normal course length is 2 days
